Educating The Next Generation Of Imaging Professionals

Diagnostic Medical Radiography Program

Harris Health System's School of Diagnostic Medical Imaging offers a full-time, two-year, hospital-based radiography program, beginning in July of each year. During the two-year program, students are assigned to clinical rotations in all imaging modalities offered at Harris Health. Ben Taub Hospital, one of only two level I trauma centers in Houston, and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, a level III trauma center, offers students the unique opportunity to experience the dynamics of trauma care.

Essential program policies may be accessed in the student handbook. Harris Health System's School of Diagnostic Medical Imaging and Saint Joseph’s College Online have partnered to provide an avenue for enrolled students to complete an associate degree, as well as provide a seamless coordination between the associate and bachelor degree enrollment in Radiologic Science Administration.
