DPS Systems Specialist

Skills / Requirements
The DPS Systems Specialist administers the electronic security controls systems for the Harris Health System; directs, under supervision, the preventive maintenance and equipment repair program for all DPS security equipment including CCTV, alarms, and card access; and manages the security IP database, work order system and web pages.
Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent of AA from technical school/military/industrial
Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or Healthcare related field preferred
Licenses & Certification: MS Certified Desktop Support Technician Certification
Work Experience: Three (3) year experience with AA or three (3) years experience in Security Systems Technology industrial with three (3) years experience in IT desk top support or networked IP devices
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking), Writing/Correspondence, Writing/Reports
Proficiencies: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook, P.C., Typing (Between 20-29 words per minute)
