Job Summary
Provides advanced level consultation, guidance and direction of compensation to human resources professionals, institutional leadership and customers. Assists in the design, development and/or implementation of compensation programs, policies and practices. Ensures all compensation programs are compliant with federal and state applicable laws and meeting organizational business objectives, and provides support for key components/activities of the compensation program, development and administration.

Minimum Qualifications

HS Diploma / GED required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Human Resources, Management, or a related field, preferred.

Licenses & Certification:
CCP preferred

Work Experience:
Five (5) years of Human Resources experience in compensation.

Management Experience:
One (1) year project management experience preferred.

Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact); Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking); Writing /Composing: Correspondence/Reports

P.C., MS Word, MS Excel

Other Requirements:
Advanced analytical, communication/customer service, compensation, facilitation skills and conceptual reasoning abilities. Advanced MS Office (particularly with Excel, Outlook, Project and Word), Visio and PeopleSoft skills required. Expert in PeopleSoft HR; MS Excel capabilities including managing large volumes of data, the use of pivot tables and V-look up functions required.
