Skills / Requirements


Responsible for assessment, development and implementation of an intervention plan for persons with chemical dependency. Coordinates referrals to community resources and provides consultation to treatment team.


Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
B.A. in Behavioral Sciences.
Work Experience (Years and Area):
Five (5) years experience as an LCDC. Knowledge of 12 step Programs, and three (3) years counseling
HIV+ persons preferred.


Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract); Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking);
Writing /Composing; Correspondence / Reports
Other Skills:
Analytical; Medical Terms; P.C.
Advanced Education:
Advance Training (Specialty): Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC)
Bachelor's Degree (Major): Behavioral Sciences
