JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr. HRIS Analyst ensures that the operational interests of all Human Resources areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the HRIS Department.  This role supports all applications deployed within the Harris Health System.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's Degree and 7 years with Healthcare preferred or High School diploma and 11  years
Work Experience: 4 Years of  HRIS experience if Degree in place - in a Hospital/Healthcare Organizations. HRMS HR experience strongly preferred.
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing/Composing: Correspondence, Reports
Proficiencies: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PC

Work Schedule: Flexible (Flexible to meet deadlines up to 40+ hour workweek frequently.), Hybrid Telecommute - 2 times at office location: 4800 Fournace, Bellaire TX  77401, Weekends (Weekends may be needed to meet deadlines possible up to 40+ hour workweek.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Performs project duties independently and consistently exercises discretion and excellent judgment in performing work to meet major milestones timely and adjusts priorities when appropriate.                                          
2.    Develops, documents, and maintains all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.  
3.    Plans within the appropriate scope to include leading or participating in meetings, project planning, Business Transaction, Quick Reference Guide, test scripts, and any other proper documentation as needed.
4.    Completes technical configuration to support and achieve production resolution.
5.    Coordinates and performs thorough and secure testing to successfully migrate timely. 
6.    Coordinate migration of IT development.
7.    Validate and perform business handoff timely.
8.    Communicates with project teams, clients, and vendors.
9.    Conducts organizational analyses to determine root causes of issues and provide recommendations.
10.    Read documentation such as business transaction, business case or specification to support inquiries
11.    Create and or update queries and analyze project data for needs assessment.
12.    Establishes Stakeholder rapport by conducting interviews with key stakeholders to investigate their HR needs.  
13.    Analyze data to identify or resolve system errors.
14.    Makes decisions based on a solid understanding of the business.
15.    Focuses on key objectives to meet project milestones and able to prioritize effectively and meet overlapping deadlines.
16.    Maximizes results by understanding and aligning actions with the organization's goals, core functions, needs, and values. 
17.    Listens to customer needs and explains complex technical issues and solutions in a plain and common descriptive manner.
18.    Responsible for research and analysis required to resolve issues.
19.    Administers and maintains HR modules and other HRIS systems to include Workforce Administration, Benefits, Compensation, Learning and Resources, Recruitment, Performance Management, Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service.
20.    Provide HR staff users with assistance solving system-related errors or data integrity.
21.    Updates documentation as discrepancies are identified for established process to include Business Transactions, workflow processes and quick reference guides.
22.    Provides technical support on established processes across 90% or more of HR modules.  Must update documentation as necessary for business transaction, mapped work flow, test scripts, and draft -quick reference guide.
23.    Handles multiple activities simultaneously, be able to prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.
24.    Escalates issues appropriately and expeditiously to appropriate individuals.
25.    Able and willing to backfill for other team members as needed.
