JOB SUMMARY: Administrative responsibility for all aspects of daily operation for the outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services and Child Life Services. Directs and coordinates departmental initiatives and implementation. Demonstrates competence to adapt work and customer service assistance methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and other developmental needs of patients served by the department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Masters or doctorate degree/TX license in Physical or Occupational or Speech Therapy, master's in health care administration or MBA preferred.
2. Work Experience: At least 5 years in rehabilitation services
3. Management Experience: At least 2 years supervisory/managerial experience in rehabilitation services setting preferred.
4. Equipment Operated: Knowledge of acquisition and operation of rehabilitation equipment.

Must demonstrate competency in age-specific and job-specific criteria. Member of American College of Healthcare Executives preferred.
