Hello, my name is Caitlin Corbett and I’m an Epic Business Analyst for Harris Health. I started my career with Harris because they were looking for Epic Analysts that had little to no experience, so I jumped on the opportunity. Technology was something I was always interested in, and I wanted to be a part of something worthwhile. Since then, I’ve really enjoyed the problem solving and detective work that comes with this position. It’s gratifying when you find solutions to existing or newer problems.

I have been with Harris Health for 7 years, and what has kept me here is the strong culture within my team, the continuous opportunities for professional growth, and the inspiring vision of my leader. One of my favorite aspects of my position is the ability to share my skills and knowledge with both my team and our customers, while also learning from them in return. Our team is highly collaborative and supportive—we help one another voluntarily and even hold weekly sessions to share work-related skills that benefit our daily responsibilities. This culture of teamwork, innovation, and support makes each day rewarding. I feel truly supported in the IT department, especially by my director, who shows great confidence in me, listens well, and mentors me in my professional development. I started at Harris Health during the COVID-19 pandemic as an IT Field Service contractor. The team recognized my work and soon offered me a full-time position—an opportunity that changed everything for me. From there, my journey took off. I continued to give my best and was eventually promoted to the Epic team, where I’ve grown both personally and professionally. Harris Health invested in my development, providing the training I needed to succeed in a new area of healthcare IT. I felt truly supported every step of the way. While working full-time, I also pursued and completed my Executive MBA. I’m proud to say I was able to balance both, thanks to the support and flexibility I found here. I've been working at Harris Health for 3 years and can attest to the collaborative, supportive, family-like culture this organization fosters. As a field service technician, I enjoyed providing computer support to our users and developing valuable professional relationships with them. Our IT department functions as a team, always reaching out to each other and resolving issues with a team approach when necessary. My growth in the organization can be attributed to hard work, determination, perseverance, dedication, and valuable professional relationships. I have since transferred from the Field Services department and joined the Epic Ambulatory team as an analyst. My ultimate goal is to become a lead analyst; Harris Health is an organization that can provide me with that opportunity.
