NURSING PROGRAMS at Harris Health System

Nursing programs are designed to provide a collaboration of education and practice aimed at providing students, new graduates, and experienced nurses with planned practice experiences with qualified nurse educators and preceptors who have received formal training in their roles. Nurse students, new graduates, and more experienced nurses receive support from their preceptors and education and leadership teams in developing five transition core competencies: communication and teamwork, patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and informatics.

Application deadlines, application processes, and steps vary from program to program. To learn more about our nursing programs or get in contact with a program coordinator or manager, please click on each program’s tab.
