JOB SUMMARY:
The Guest Transport Supervisor oversees the daily operations of patient, specimen, and medication transport services, ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate service throughout the hospital and surrounding areas. This role leads staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management while maintaining compliance with safety protocols and patient identification standards. With strong leadership and mentoring skills, the supervisor supports team development, operational efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Degrees:
- Associate's degree (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support: From an approved AHA or ARC
Work Experience (Years and Area):
- Four (4) Years Work Experience in related field.
Management Experience (Years and Area):
- Two (2) Year of Management Experience as a Project/team lead.
Language Skills:
- Spanish (Preferred)
Communication Skills:
- Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract)
- Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)
- Writing /Composing
