JOB SUMMARY
Lead Project Manager, PMO-MEQ
Leads, supervises, collaborates and mentors project teams in daily work activities within the
Health Care System Engineering PMO office; assists strategic capital program (SCP) Director
with program assignments and monitors project resource allocation to achieve strategic system
goals; coordinates, oversees, and/or collaborates on assigned projects (i.e. routine, strategic,
Facilities Architectural and Engineering) ensuring compliance with Harris County Purchasing
Policies, Corporate Compliance, Information Security Guidelines, Infection Control Risk
Assessment (ICRA) policies, codes/licensing, state, and other applicable Harris Health System
policies. Seventy percent of duties shall be the execution of assigned projects per departmental
requirements; leads project management process through budgetary projections, funding,
project initiation, programming, MEQ requirements identification and planning, design, fixture
& Equipment (FF&E) selection, procurement, construction, MEQ device integration, activation
and project closeout. Manage internal and external relationships through effective continuous
communication and relationship building. Leads and participates in a collaborative team
environment to achieve best possible outcomes. Demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by
exhibiting professional attitude, honesty and integrity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Degrees:
Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business,
Science, Construction
Management, Biomed,
Architecture or Equivalent
Licensed/Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) from PMI preferred

8 Years of experience in in Healthcare-MEQ,
Design/Construction related
field & Project/Program work
