Job Summary:

Performs a variety of routine and special diagnostic procedures on clinical specimens for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.  Performs high complexity testing according to established procedures.  Validates and report results of tests performed. Performs and documents Quality Control. Performs instrument and equipment maintenance according to policy and procedures. Maintains adequate stock of reagents and supplies. Participates in continuing education. 

Minimum Qualifications:   

Degree/Education/Specialized Training:  
Associates Degree in Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science, or Related Science in (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) 

(OR)

Completion of an accredited medical laboratory technology/science program

Degrees:
Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science, or Related Science in (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) Preferred

Work Experience:
No experience in Clinical Laboratory required
