JOB SUMMARY: Assists the Director of Patient Access in directing, coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the Patient Access Services Department. Manages Patient Access staff, processes, policies, and procedures to ensure Patient Access functions are carried out in a timely, accurate, efficient, and customer service-oriented manner. Manages all activities within the Patient Access department such as, setting and managing department budgets; obtaining patient registration and insurance information; and collecting patient deposits and co-pays.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare or related field preferred (Preferred) (And) Three (3) Years Work Experience healthcare experience in Patient Access, Patient Accounts, or related area. Knowledge of patient registration/billing system preferred.

High School Diploma or GED (And) Seven (7) Years Work Experience healthcare experience in Patient Access, Patient Accounts, or related area. Knowledge of patient registration/billing system preferred.
Management Experience (Years and Area):Three (3) years in supervisory/management experience.
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing/Composing Correspondence, Writing/Composing Reports
Proficiencies: P.C, Typing, MS Word
