Job Summary
Assist the ophthalmologists in screening, diagnosing and treating patients with eye disorders. Orients and trains staff and physicians in technical skills.
Minimum Qualifications
School Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Degrees:
- Associate of Applied Science: in technical Ophthalmology (Preferred)
Licenses & Certifications:
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician from Joint Commission on Applied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology
- Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program
Work Experience:
- Three (3) Years Work Experience
Management Experience:
- One (1) Year leadership Experience preferred
Language Skills:
- Spanish (Preferred)
Communication Skills:
- Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
