Job Summary

The Correctional Health Program Manager manages various programs and campaigns within the Correctional Health department, to ensure the successful execution of the department's overall people strategies. The Correctional Health Program Manager will partner with leaders (Organizational Learning & Talent Management, HR Health Services, Correctional Health, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Occupational Health, Workforce and Community Connections, Employee Wellness, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations), and other system leaders and vendor partners (The Harris Center and Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) to support the enhancement of organizational effectiveness and performance. The Correctional Health Program Manager will complete assigned administrative duties and presentations for the Correctional Health pavilion and facilitate the Correctional Health townhalls.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees:
Bachelor's Degree; in Human Resource, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Master's Degree; Preferred

Licenses & Certifications:
Certification as appropriate by department preferred

Work Experience:
Five (5) years work experience in Correctional Health

Management Experience:
Two (2) years of management experience in Program Manager, Project Management or Leadership role

Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking)
Writing/Correspondence
Writing/Reports

Proficiencies:
MS Excel, MS Word
