JOB SUMMARY: 
Senior Project Manager ' Procurement 

The Senior Project Manager- Procurement provides procurement management for projects under the Harris Health $3.2-billion Strategic Capital Plan. The SPM Procurement provides end-to-end procurement oversight for Strategic Capital Plan (SCP) projects, with particular responsibility for long-lead MEQ, FF&E, Art, and IT procurements. Responsibilities include oversight of the full procurement lifecycle from requisition intake through asset receipt; early identification, tracking, and mitigation of long-lead procurement items; alignment of procurement activities with project schedules and construction milestones; attendance at project, construction, clinical, IT, and governance meetings to address procurement risks in real time; tracking and escalation of approvals in Trimble and PeopleSoft; oversight of invoice processing workflows to ensure alignment with delivery and acceptance milestones; coordination of delivery, installation, and asset receiving in PeopleSoft; and escalation of procurement, invoicing, or receiving issues impacting schedule, cash flow, or audit compliance.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's Degree Architectural or Construction Management, or related technical degree (And) Five (5) Years Work Experience related industry experience to include 3 Years of Project Management experience within healthcare facilities or large construction projects

(Or)

2. High School Diploma or GED (And) Nine (9) Years Work Experience related industry experience to include three years project management within healthcare facilities or large construction projects
                          
3. Equipment Operated:  Plotters, Computer, Scanners, A/E tools (i.e. AuotCAD, Microsoft Project, etc.), Project Management Software, etc.

 

CERTIFICATIONS:

Project Management Professional is preferred
