Sr. Compensation Analyst

Job Summary
The Sr. Compensation Analyst provides advanced level consultation, guidance and direction of compensation to human resources professionals, institutional leadership and customers. Assists in the design, development and/or implementation of compensation programs, policies and practices. Ensures all compensation programs are compliant with federal and state applicable laws and meeting organizational business objectives, and provides support for key components/activities of the compensation program, development and administration.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees:
HS Diploma / GED required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Human Resources, Management, or a related field, preferred.
Licenses & Certification:
CCP preferred
Work Experience:
Five (5) years of Human Resources experience in compensation.
Management Experience:
One (1) year project management experience preferred.
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact); Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking); Writing /Composing: Correspondence/Reports
Proficiencies:
P.C., MS Word, MS Excel

Other Requirements:
Advanced analytical, communication/customer service, compensation, facilitation skills and conceptual reasoning abilities. Advanced MS Office (particularly with Excel, Outlook, Project and Word), Visio and PeopleSoft skills required. Expert in PeopleSoft HR; MS Excel capabilities including managing large volumes of data, the use of pivot tables and V-look up functions required.
