JOB SUMMARY:
The ACS Operations Manager- Strategic Programs is responsible for developing/leading strategic business initiatives and programs as assigned by the Ambulatory Care Services Administrator. Efforts will focus on transforming the Ambulatory Care Services into an integrated ambulatory care delivery system that aligns with the HCHD Strategic Plan and the future environment under legislative directives. Provides direct/indirect support to ACS leadership. In conjunction with ACS leadership, ensures the efficient planning, execution, and maintenance of strategic programs according to deadlines, budget, and organizational policies and procedures. Manages and/or assists in the management of day-to-day tasks/activities for resources assigned to programs, including ensuring that tasks are completed on time and roadblocks and/or obstacles are identified and communicated to appropriate management resources. Works with interdisciplinary, cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives described in defined project plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelors Degree from an accredited university. Master's Degree in Business (MBA) or Healthcare Administration (MHA).

Work Experience (Years and Area): 0-3 years of experience in a health care setting.

Management Experience (Years and Area):None required. Project management experience preferred.

Equipment Operated: None required.
