JOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Director of Operations for Patient Financial Services at Harris Health oversees all daily activities related to billing, collections, cash and denial posting, refunds, charge capture, and payment analysis, ensuring revenue cycle operations are efficient, accurate, timely, and customer-focused. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle and supporting the CFO, this role implements process changes, policies, and best practices while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The admin director leads interdepartmental and external meetings to address workflow improvements and collaborates with staff at all levels, including medical, nursing, and executive teams, to enhance revenue cycle practices. Additionally, the role involves managing vendor and third-party payer relationships, resolving payment delays, negotiating settlements, and assisting in legal preparations for escalated issues. This position emphasizes operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and effective stakeholder communication to achieve financial and organizational goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related field required.
Work Experience (Years and Area): Ten (10) Years of Experience in a hospital, financial institution.
Management Experience (Years and Area):Seven (7) Years of Experience of executive Management demonstrated leadership in a healthcare organization, healthcare business office or environment.
