Job Profile

JOB SUMMARY:
Directs, develops, coordinates and evaluates Virtual Care initiatives across Harris Health. Ensures coordination of efforts and assists with aligning strategic priorities in order to support patient-centered initiatives that promote quality of virtual care across healthcare setting and to avoid duplication of programs, staff and services. The administrative director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Virtual Care platform and identifies, evaluates, implements, and maintains virtual care services that transform and/or enhance the way providers deliver care to Harris Health patients and/or communicate with other providers. This includes assessing feasibility and potential ROI for proposed virtual care solutions, developing and implementing project plans for new services and facilitating issue resolution for existing telehealth programs. This position operates as the conduit between Executive Leadership, Assistant Chiefs of Staff, and the providers to: ensure appropriate governance structure exists, promote a collaborative performance culture, ensure the programs goals are in alignment with the organizations strategic plan and achieve the goals, and ensure compliance adherence to policies, procedures, regulations and established metrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Degrees: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Business Administration (MBA) required.

Work Experience: Seven (7) years administrative experience in a large health care setting. - Experience with and understanding of virtual care (tele-health, e-consultation, etc.) preferred.

Management Experience : Five (5) or more years of practice management and supervisory experience in a physician practice and/or multidisciplinary practice of ten (10) or more providers.
