Job Summary
This position provides administrative and office support for the departmental Director or above. Collects, reviews, analyzes complex and/or confidential data and prepares reports, charts, budgets, and other presentation materials. Advanced and confidential secretarial and administrative duties requiring comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organization, policies and practices. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and require originality. Works under general supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED
Work Experience: Seven (7) years of secretarial or administrative experience
Language Skills: Spanish
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Correspondence, Writing /Reports
Proficiencies: MS Word, P.C., Typing 30 WPM
Job Attributes
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Transcription, Mathematics, Statistical
Work Schedule: Flexible, Eligible for Telecommute
Other Requirements:
- Advanced level PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Access, and Outlook. PeopleSoft skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Equipment Operated: Customary office equipment including but not limited to PC skills (Microsoft Word and Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher and HCHD Payrollmation), copier, fax, telecommunications equipment, dictation
equipment, etc.
