Skills / Requirements

Job Summary:  Under the supervision of a Vice President, this position provides administrative and office support for the departmental VP.  Excellent administrative and organization skills are required.  This positiin is exposed to highly confidential and sensitive information and deals with a diverse group of internal and external contacts at all levels of the organization.  Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload;  recommends changes in office practices or procedures.

Education:  High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience:  Minimum five (5) years Senior Management level secretarial experience.

Equipment Operated:  Customary office equipment including PC, copier, fax, telecommunications equipment, dictation equipment, etc.

Other Skills:  Analytical, Dictation/Transcription, Statistical, Type 55 wpm, PC, MS Word, and MS Excel.

Other Requirements:  Strong PC skills including Miscrosoft Office Suite, MS Access and Outlook.  PeopleSoft skills.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
