JOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Director performs responsible, professional and administrative tasks in directing the operations and activities of the Materials Management which includes the following divisions:  Purchasing, Central Supply, Receiving, Linen, Forms Management, Property Control, Copy Center, Mailrooms and Property Control. Additionally, the Administrative Director is also responsible for analyzing and managing the Harris Health System medical supply budget.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   

1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's
Degree. (Business and Healthcare Management)  
Master's Degree desired.
2. Work Experience (Years and Area): Five (5) years of senior level verifiable administrative/managerial
Experience in areas Healthcare.
3. Management Experience (Years and Area): Five years Senior level supervisory experience                                                            
4. Equipment Operated: Desk and Laptop computer experience (Microsoft Office).

Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)
Bilingual Skills Required:    No
Writing /Composing   (Correspondence /Reports)

2.    Other Skills:
Analytical    Medical Terms      P.C.         Research     Statistical      Typing-30 wpm 

3.  Work Schedule:   Flexible    Travel        On-Call

4.  Other Requirements: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
