Skills / Requirements

JOB SUMMARY:
The Cardiographic Technician performs non-invasive diagnostic procedures to include cardiac, nuclear, and pharmacological stress testing. The Cardiographic Technician also performs Holter testing and analysis, cardiac event monitoring, and EKGs as well as calibrate and operate various department equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Completion of a non-invasive/invasive electrocardiographic training program;

Work Experience:
Two (2) years experience in EKG, Stress, Holter with advanced interpretation skills preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
Current CCT Certification or eligible to successfully complete exam within first 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.

Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
