Skills / Requirements

Job Summary - CORRECTIONAL HEALTH

Responsible for assessment, development and implementation of an intervention plan for persons with chemical dependency. Coordinates referrals to community resources and provides consultation to treatment team

Minimum Qualifications

Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences

License & Certification: Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC)

Work Experience:
Three (3) Years Work Experience in counseling incarcerated persons preferred
Five (5) Years Work Experience as an LCDC. Knowledge of 12 Step Programs

Language Skills: Bilingual; Spanish/English desirable

Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking)
Writing/Correspondence
Writing/Reports

Proficiencies: MS Word, P.C.
