Job Summary
The Cold Chain Management Specialist works closely with Laboratory and Pharmacy Services to ensure cold chain equipment is properly prepped prior to transfer of temperature sensitive items between clinics and pavilions.  The Cold Chain Management Specialist uses standardized containers and cooling agents to assist with controlling required temperature ranges during transport.  The Cold Chain Management Specialist utilizes a PDA device that allows for tracking of temperatures during transit, visual management for out of range alerts and delivery validation upon arrival to final destination.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the integrity of temperature sensitive items is maintained from point of origination to final destination.  The Cold Chain Management Specialist supports a variety of deliveries including but not limited to scheduled routes and unscheduled stat requests.  The Cold Chain Management Specialist¿s primary focus is achieve timely deliveries while organizing, loading, containing and unloading products to customers as planned.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees: High School Diploma / GED

Licenses & Certification: Valid Driver's License

Work Experience: One (1) year of experience as a Courier/Driver in General transportation/courier services

Communication Skills: Writing/ Correspondence

Proficiencies: MS Outlook, PC
