JOB SUMMARY
Assist the Healthcare Systems Engineering leadership in coordination of all departmental contracts. Under the general supervision of department management, the Contracts Administrator is responsible for the administration and coordination of Physical Environment and Construction Engineering contracts and correlating contract monitoring activities from initiation to execution. This role is responsible for the oversight and coordination of processing, analysis and monitoring of contract performance and spend. The Contracts Administrator will serve as a liaison between required internal and external agencies and the assigned contract monitoring officers for the development and implementation of contracts. The Administrator must demonstrate the ability to self-manage and work within a timely and efficient manner in order to drive accountability and compliance with related contracting policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Degrees:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Finance, Management Information or related field required
- Master's Degree preferred in Business Administration may be substituted for two years general experience
Licensed/Certifications: N/A
Work Experience:
- 5 Years of Experience working with construction and maintenance related contracts related to service support in a Health Care System
- 3 Years of Experience in Utilization of electronic media for the tracking and management of requisitions and spend analytics (i.e., PeopleSoft)
- 3 Years of Experience working knowledge of public or Harris County procurement methods preferred
