Skills / Requirements

JOB SUMMARY: Maintain integrity of the Master Patient Index. Analyze the Daily Duplicate Report to identify medical records numbers to be merged. Assist with the resolution of overlay errors. Assist with complex data clean-up and/or other activities related to documentation/chart correction within EHR. Answer incoming calls, in-basket messages/ emails related to duplicate numbers and documentation errors. Performs a variety of duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field; RHIT or RHIA preferred
2. Work Experience (Years and Area): Three (3) years' experience in a related field
3. Management Experience (Years and Area): Not required
