THIS JOB IS REMOTE FOR TEXAS RESIDENTS ONLY.

The Data Reporting & Analytics Supervisor is responsible for and works directly with management to oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics. The Data Reporting & Analytics Supervisor plays an active role in building, developing, and maintaining data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions through providing supervision and project oversight to the analytics team. This position participates in the analysis and interpretation of data to effectively meet the requirements of internal and external customers.

Roles And Responsibilities:

Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting. Serves as a subject-matter expert on the analytics team. Promotes the delivery of exceptional levels of quality by coordinating and adjusting departmental resources to address any adverse business trends.

Monitor the Analytics ticket system and manage the work of analysts based on current workload. Monitor and manage SQL jobs and acts as the liaison to escalate database issues to the Director/DBA Team. Maintains inventory and documentation of existing reporting projects including SQL jobs and stored procedures. Oversee the integration and staging of data, and the development and maintenance of the data warehouse.

Facilitate and operationalize, through new or enhance business practices, best in class reporting and analytics for report design, data preparation and data analysis. Collaborates in developing strategies to streamline reporting processes and priorities. Use modern visualization tools such as Power BI to enhance business understanding through artistic, simple, and concise data story telling.

Actively contributes to achievement of departmental goals, as identified in Department’s annual business plan, including specific departmental process improvement plans. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Finance, Business, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science required.
Training/experience with databases and reporting tools required.
These include a combination of the following SQL server, MS Access, Tableau, Power BI or Crystal Experience in managed care analytics a plus.
Work Experience Required:

3 years in a reporting role, to include demonstrated experience working with relational databases and developing actionable reporting using key metrics communicated in an easy-to-understand manner.
2 years of experience with SQL Server database administration, Experience with SQL Server Analysis Server (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).
3 years using data analytics and data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, and D3.
Expertise with SQL querying language
Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and develop new solutions.
Strong organizational, problem solving, and analysis skills Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities.
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Late Nights and Weekend may be required occasionally as per business needs.
