JOB SUMMARY:
The Director, Employee Experience & Culture designs, implements and manages key talent management programs (e.g., Employee Rewards, Performance Management, Succession Planning) in support of the talent organization within HR and ensures the execution of the department's overall talent strategies in order to develop and retain a highly effective workforce. Engages directly with departmental leaders, organizational stakeholders, and other relevant decision makers to support efforts in furtherance of overall talent management programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or related field, OR 4 years of commensurate professional work experience.  Master’s degree Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred. HR related certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, sHRBP)

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

  • 7 Years of Experience (HR talent experience, including recruitment, onboarding, & retention). 
  • 5 Years of Experience in management


COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Above average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
Writing/ Reports: Creation of regular reporting

PROFICIENCIES:  MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook

OTHER SKILLS:  Analytical, Research, Statistical

WORK SCHEDULE:  Flexible (Normal business hours M-F), Eligible for Telecommute

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and/or initiatives while maintaining administrative and organizational  structure. Clear understanding of departmental operating procedures, practices, and guidelines. Ability to interpret organizational and departmental strategic goals in order to devise and maintain relevant types of strategic program support. Excellent presentation and organizational skills with the ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Typical duties that may be performed

  • Partner with HR departmental leaders to lead efforts in the design, delivery and management of strategic talent management related programs for internal staff, i.e., Employee Rewards, Performance Management, and Succession Planning.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to assist in the development of change management, formalized program communication plans, and training/development plans tied to overall successful program implementations and launches.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of Talent Management Programs; recommends enhancements or changes as needed. Communicates system issues/concerns that impact departmental functions to departmental leadership and organizational stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensures development of necessary timelines and sequencing for all talent management program related activities throughout the year, including scheduling of program reviews, surveying, internal town hall coordination, external vendor management, etc.
  • Works with internal support team to ensure that necessary program reporting and metrics are available to relevant stakeholders upon request and/or through monthly/quarterly reviews.
  • Responsible for documentation and internal storage of all program files, templates, tools, meeting notes, etc., pertaining to overall program management and administration.
  • Supports general talent program management function through sharing of best practices, collaboration efforts, coordination of joint program trainings, and general program successes.
  • Manages team of internal individual contributors with core focus of promoting employee experience programming and initiatives, while also working with same team members to ensure their growth and overall developmental needs are being identified and supported.
  • Assists in general administrative support to talent programs as needed.
