JOB SUMMARY: Director of Environmental Services (EVS) will have responsibility for oversight of the EVS department to include Financial, Operational, and Strategic management. Develops and implements cost of service and uses reduction strategies related to technology assessment, planning and management activities for the Harris Health System; provides direct oversight and guidance to the entire system. Direct all aspects of the supplies, hazardous materials oversight. Responsible for planning, staffing, and effective and efficient utilization of District resources to better serve the patient satisfaction of services rendered.
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: BA/BS in Business Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Registered Executive Housekeeper (REH) preferred. Education requirement may be substituted with 4 years of industry experience as outlined below
Work Experience (Years and Area): If Bachelor's degree is held, five (5) years of experience in related field required; if Bachelor's degree is not held, then nine (9) years of experience in related field required.
Management Experience (Years and Area):If Bachelor's degree is held, three (3) years management experience in healthcare, business or related field; if Bachelor's degree is not held, then five (5) years of management experience in healthcare, Business or related field.
