Job Summary
Provide administrative direction and technical guidance of operational activities for the Department of Imaging Services; an administrative position that will require flexible work hours and 24/7 responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees: Bachelor's Degree in a basic science or related field; Master's degree preferred
License & Certification: ARRT Certification
Work Experience: Five to six years experience to include at least three years of management experience; preferably academic medical center environment.
Management Experience: Five to six years experience to include at least three years of management experience; preferably academic medical center environment.
Equipment Operated: Proficient knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment, office/computer equipment and software.
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing /Composing
Proficiencies: P.C.

Other Requirements:
Registered Radiologic Technologist; knowledge of multiple modalities and advanced registry preferred.
Strong working knowledge of radiology procedures and use of all radiologic equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in dealing with patients, faculty, administrators, and staff.
Effective problem solving skills; ability to analyze and evaluate data.
Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals.
Proficient with use of computer software; Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
