JOB SUMMARY: Director, Outpatient Pharmacy Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for outpatient pharmacy operations across Harris Health. This role is responsible for advancing the organization's mission, vision, and goals by ensuring safe, effective, and innovative medication-use practices; driving operational and clinical excellence ensuring regulatory compliance; and optimizing financial performance. The Director is a key member of the Pharmacy Executive team, accountable for delivering high-quality patient care, advancing pharmacy practice, and building collaborative partnerships across disciplines to improve outcomes and patient experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:    

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy + Master's degree preferred (MBA/MPH/MHA or related degree)
American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment
Pharmacy: Texas Pharmacist License or eligible for Texas Pharmacist License; must obtain licensure within 90 days of employment.
Texas Pharmacist Preceptor: Within 90 days of employment


Work Experience (Years and Area):      Seven (7) Years Work Experience in pharmacy, with strong background in hospital or health system pharmacy practice.

Management Experience (Years and Area):      Five (5) years in pharmacy management experience in operations manager level or above, with demonstrated leadership in outpatient pharmacy
services.
