Job Summary
The Education Instructor III-Radiography will serve as the Clinical Coordinator for the Program in Diagnostic Medical Radiography, teach in the continuous education programs in MRI and or CT (depending on the qualifications and experiences of the instructor). The Education Instructor III-Radiography is responsible for student clinical education experiences, clinical site placements, student evaluations and working/collaborating with the on-site technologists for students' evaluations, student progress and student supervision.  The Education Instructor III-Radiography will be responsible for teaching courses in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Computed Tomography (CT) continuing educational program.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees:
Bachelor's Degree and advanced certification training in CAT Scan and/or MRI
Master's Degree preferred

License & Certifications:
Cert Medical Radiologic Tech with Texas Medical Board  (TMB)
Radiographer American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(CT) and/or (MRI) preferred; Must be dual certified within 2 years

Work Experience: Two (2) years of clinical experience in the professional discipline

Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Writing /Correspondence

Proficiencies: MS Excel, MS Word

Other Requirements: During the Fall and Spring semesters, must be available to teach in the MRI or CT continuous education programs. The programs are usually taught on Wednesday nights from 5pm to 9 pm.
