Job Summary:

The Sonogaphy Education Instructor III plans, designs, implements, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs and activities for designated departments based upon identified needs for the Sonography Program.

Our diagnostic medical instructors teach anatomy, physiology, ultrasound scanning techniques and protocols, medical terminology, patient care, medical communication professional ethics, and more.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree: 
a) Bachelor's Degree
b) Master's Degree Preferred

Licenses & Certifications: 
a) Holds current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification and registration in sonography with specialties in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), 
    1) Advanced certification in Vascular (RVT) and/or Breast (BR) sonography preferred
b) CPR certification.

Work Experience: 
a) Two (2) Years of Work Experience: full time experience in sonography
    1) Didactic Experience: The ideal candidate should have experience teaching in a     classroom setting, or should have received training in education. This experience will help the instructor to effectively convey complex medical concepts to students in an engaging and relatable way.
    2) Clinical Experience: Sonography instructors should have hands-on experience in clinical sonography. This will help them to provide practical training to students, as well as to understand the challenges and limitations of the job.
