Harris County Hospital District DBA Harris Health System seeks ERP Software Engineer Ill to work in Bellaire, Texas to design, develop, implement, test and support the PeopleSoft applications to yield solutions and strategies for accomplishing viable solutions for complex business processes, including applies PeopleSoft application technologies with the ability and desire to lead technical solutions take on new environments and collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architects. Assess and develops high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements. Reviews application in progress of development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards. Guide programmers/developers on technical issues.

Applies troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, lead high-visibility efforts and mentor junior team members. Develops or reviews development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance. Review test results and direct further development. Takes on project assignments by understanding requirements, producing solutions independently or managing a group effort, demonstrating accurate translations of requirements and reviewing results with peers and seniors. Partners with the Programmers, Project Managers and Business Analysts to understand changing business demands, formulate solutions and create an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork. Interfaces and integrates strategies with external systems and processes, including determining, understanding, and maintaining business requirements for those interactions. Establishes and implements effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirements process. Telecommuting permitted (Hybrid).

 

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field;
  • Five (5) Years of experience in a PeopleSoft technical role;

Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.Sx, PeopleCode,

Component Interface,

SQR,

Application Engine programming,

Approval Framework (AWE),

Bl Publisher,

PeopleSoft Portal (Interaction Hub), or

Integration Broker as determined in a technical interview; and

Knowledge of PeopleSoft technical architecture (Web Server, App Server, Process Scheduler, Batch Server or Database Server) as determined in a technical interview.

 

ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED;

Nine (9) years of experience in a PeopleSoft technical role;

Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.Sx, PeopleCode,

Component Interface,

SQR,

Application Engine programming,

Approval Framework (AWE),

BI Publisher,

PeopleSoft Portal (Interaction Hub), or

Integration Broker as determined in a technical interview; and

Knowledge of PeopleSoft technical architecture (Web Server, App Server, Process Scheduler, Batch Server or Database Server) as determined in a technical interview.
