Job Summary
The Gifting Coordinator is responsible for the day to day activities of the tangible gifting program. This involves coordinating the receipt, storage and distribution of all in-kind donations maintaining accurate donation records. The Coordinator will also oversee volunteer activities for tangible giving initiatives and help facilitate donor recognition. The Gifting Coordinator must also possess the skills to assist with the submission of grant proposals that will support programmatic and/or patient needs not otherwise met by in-kind donations. This position involves working with long-time donors as well as new donors and also the clinics across the system who request and receive in-kind support from the gifting program.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees: Bachelor's degree; BA or BS
Work Experience: Two (2) years work experience required. Experience in a healthcare environment or non profit preferred
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)
Writing / Correspondence (grant writing experience helpful)
Writing / Reports
Proficiencies: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, Typing - wpm 30
