Job Summary
The Tangible Gifting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage and distribution of all in-kind donations and maintaining accurate donation records for Harris Health System. In addition, the coordinator will assist the Community Involvement Manager with the submission of grant proposals that will support programmatic and/or patient needs not otherwise met by in-kind donations. The Coordinator will also oversee volunteer activities for Tangible Giving initiatives and help facilitate donor recognition. This position works in close partnership with the Harris Health Development office and the HCHD Foundation.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees: Bachelor's degree; BA or BS

Work Experience: Two (2) years work experience required. Experience in a healthcare environment or non profit preferred

Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)
Writing / Correspondence (grant writing experience helpful)
Writing / Reports

Proficiencies: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, Typing - wpm 30
