Job Summary
The Guest Transportation Lead will assist in leading daily operations for Guest Transportation department on assigned shift. The guest transportation lead will assist team in the absence of the supervisor/manager, as assigned. The guest transportation lead will dispatch, transport patients, specimens and medication as needed. Other job functions include compiling department reports, cross training and leadership. Assists in the training of new guest transportation employees.
Minimum Qualifications
School Education: High School Diploma or GED
Degrees: Associates preferred
Licenses & Certification: Basic Life Support
Work Experience: Two (2) years of Customer service, Healthcare experience
Management Experience: Six (6) months in a supervisory role
Communication Skills: Above average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/ Correspondence, Writing/ Reports
Language Skills: Bilingual Skills preferred
Proficiencies: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, P.C., Typing; 20 wpm
Job Attributes
Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible
Equipment Operated: Wheelchair, stretcher, hospital bed, radio, base station, oxygen tanks, copy machine and electronic devices.
