Job Summary
Responsible for managing the daily work activities of the staff's quality, productivity, guidance, functional excellence and efficiency while assisting Vice-President and Management of Clinical Documentation in accomplishing strategic and operational objectives. In addition, provide staffing decisions such as hiring and terminating employment; coaching and counseling employees on work related performance; and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective work environment. Also, responsible for implementing, training and monitoring operations initiatives in order to comply with ethical and legal business practices and accreditation, regulatory, and government regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors of Science (or) Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or HealthCare Administration from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation

License & Certifications: Registered Health Information Admin (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) must be completed within two years of employment

Work Experience: Five (5) year of healthcare experience in Health Information Systems

Management Experience: One (1) year supervisory/ management experience

Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)

Writing / Reports

Proficiencies: MS Word, P.C.
