JOB SUMMARY: Ensures the operational interests of all Human Resources areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the HRIS Department.
HRIS Analyst I - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
HRIS Analyst I: Minimum - $52,790.40 – Midpoint - $67,308.80
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and no experience or High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of HRIS experience required in lieu of a degree, with 1 year in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred
HRIS Analyst I – Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates an awareness of project frameworks, life cycles, and project management concepts, techniques, tools, and best practices.
2. Demonstrates an understanding of the project reporting standards.
3. Develops simple project plans for a specific aspect of the project.
4. Assists with the basic day-to-day activities related to the project ensuring that these tasks are completed on time and are accurate. "
5. Demonstrates a basic understanding of HR industry trends, the organization's strategic direction, competitors, and relevant stakeholders.
6. Applies a basic knowledge of HR best practices when conducting work.
7. Conducts interviews with key stakeholders to investigate their HR needs, with the support of pre-developed organizational questions.
8. Aggregates data to be used for conducting internal and external business analyses.
9. Assists in root cause analysis to identify basic problems experienced by clients and in collaboration with others, recommend solutions."
10. Has a basic understanding of business functions and processes.
11. Communicates using industry-specific language.
12. Complies with decisions that support organizational goals related to assigned projects.
13. Clearly understands how their function supports organizational goals and prioritizes effectively based on that understanding.
14. Serves as the first point of contact for basic inquiries.
15. Works with customers to achieve production resolution.
16. Demonstrates an understanding of available technologies, how to use them, and the value they provide.
17. Effectively applies knowledge of most relevant HR concepts, with minimal assistance.

HRIS Analyst II - Minimum - $64,355.20 - Midpoint - $82,035.20
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of experience in HRIS required, with one (1) year Hospital/Health Care Organizations preferred. PeopleSoft HR experience strongly preferred.
OR
High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of experience in HRIS required, with one (1) year Hospital/Health Care Organizations preferred. PeopleSoft HR experience strongly preferred.
HRIS Analyst II – Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates and applies an understanding of project frameworks, life cycles, and project management concepts, techniques, tools, and best practices.
2. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the project reporting standards.
3. Maintains self-project reporting accurately.
4. Participates in development of project plans, including the expected outcomes, risks, contingency plans, and required resources for the project.
5. Identifies more critical activities in the project plan and adjusts priorities when appropriate. Assists in the development of presentations to key stakeholders.
6. Supports with medium to high priority project tasks.
7. Implements basic changes or adaptations to the assigned projects.
8. Handles more complex administrative tasks related to the assigned projects and ensure they are completed on time, accurate, and handling more complex project queries.
9. Applies detailed knowledge of HR industry trends, the organization's strategic direction, competitors, and relevant stakeholders.
10. Consistently applies HR best practices to work and acts as a role model to others with less experience.
11. Conducts interviews with key internal stakeholders to gather information about their current and upcoming HR needs, without the support of pre-developed organizational questions.
12. Assists with conducting internal and external analyses to identify barriers and opportunities.
13. Performs root causes analysis to identify basic problems experienced by clients and provides recommendations.
14. Is knowledgeable regarding most business practices and processes across 50% of HR modules.
15. Is literate in business language and comfortable communicating about all facets of the business specific to HRIS.
16. Makes recommendations that support organizational goals related to assigned projects.
17. Makes decisions that drive people capabilities to the organization’s advantage.
18. Clearly communicates using metrics and concepts when making the case for new projects / initiatives.
19. Handles more complex inquiries and appropriately escalates as necessary.
20. Acts as a mediator for concerns pertaining to production support.
21. Leverages relevant technology effectively and efficiently to increase customer experience.
22. Develops others' ability to use technology.
23. Recognizes gaps in current technology resources and where appropriate, identifies solutions.

HRIS Analyst III: Minimum -$69659.20 - Midpoint - $90,584.00
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and four (4) years of experience in HRIS required, with three (3) year Hospital/Health Care Organizations preferred. PeopleSoft 9.2 experience preferred.
OR
High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of experience in HRIS required, with three (3) year Hospital/Health Care Organizations preferred. PeopleSoft 9.2 experience preferred.
HRIS Analyst III – Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates an advanced understanding and partners with IT on all project frameworks and project management concepts, reporting standards, techniques, tools, and best practices.
2. Possesses an advanced understanding of the project life cycle and is able to apply knowledge when leading a team through a medium to large projects.
3. Considers the short and long-term consequences of project decisions being taken.
4. Ensures that a relevant risk management and contingency plan is in place for each project.
5. Directs and oversees more complex projects, ensuring that the changes are adopted and understood by stakeholders.
6. Oversees the administrative project tasks and ensures they are completed on time, are accurate, and current.
7. Monitors HR best practices and in connection with the organization strategy makes recommendations to leaders.
8. Understands the interconnectivity, or lack thereof, of stakeholder needs and prioritizes the importance of each stakeholder's needs.
9. Identifies the gaps between current HR projects
10. Recommends new initiatives to HR leaders to eliminate the upcoming or immediate gaps between the organization's current HR initiatives and stakeholder and business needs.
11. Conducts root cause analysis on complex client problems and provides integrated recommendations.
