JOB SUMMARY:
Participate and support with the implementation of the Information Security Strategic Plan. Responsibilities that will be learned and carried out will include the monitoring and maintenance of security mechanisms and components, evaluating security tools (hardware/software), documentation, and reporting results with recommendations. Assist and provide support with detailed information technology audit reviews to assess Harris County Hospital District's compliance with federal and state regulations. These audits would include application audits, network reviews, and regulatory and other compliance reviews.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Four (4) year degree in an IT related or equivalent work experience. CISSP and/or CISA Certification.
Work Experience: Three (3) years of work experience and the ability to evaluate and review a range of mainframe, unix and windows applications and computer systems.
