The Informatics Pharmacist provides project and live system support for clinical systems. Participates in activities related to clinical pharmacy systems and communicates effectively with stakeholders. Effectively maintains and optimizes clinical content in pharmacy information systems. Provides pharmacist services to department as staff pharmacist where appropriate.
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: BS or PharmD in pharmacy; Epic Certification within 6 months of employment; Registered with Texas State Board of Pharmacy. If licensure by reciprocity or if new pharmacy graduate, must obtain Texas license within the first 90 days of employment; Pharmacy PGY1 or PGY2 specialty residency preferred
Work Experience: 2 years pharmacy operations experience preferred,
1+ year Information Technology/Clinical Systems experience preferred
