Job Summary:
To oversee, develop and facilitate: 1) the training and recruitment of new Laboratory team member hires, 2) training and development of existing staff, 3) Student training programs, 4) Lab personnel training programs, 5) Continuing education (CE) programs for all staff, work closely with coordinators and program managers from laboratory programs, community colleges, and other programs deemed necessary to fulfill the strategic goals of the System. Provide administrative support to the pavilions as needed with metrics and intern and student assistance as well clinical staffing.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree: Bachelor's Degree Lab in science, education or related field.
Licenses & Certification: ASCP certification (Preferred)
Work Experience: Five (5) Years of Lab experience preferably in inpatient and ambulatory setting.
Communication Skills:
a.) Above average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact): Strong communication (written & verbal) and analytical skills, as well as the ability to solve complex financial problems.
b.) Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking)
c.) Writing/ Correspondence
d.) Writing/ Reports
Proficiencies: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Access
