Skills / Requirements

JOB SUMMARY:
Oversee and support CMT in the Central Monitor Unit. The LCMT takes a leadership role in rhythm interpretation dysrhythmia recognition, and continuous education of assigned LCMT. The LCMT supports CMT's during recognition of lethal cardiac rhythms by verifying lethal cardiac rhythms alarms and alarm settings. The LCMT monitors documentation of assigned CMT's. LCMT assist with trouble shooting of telemetry equipment and lead placement on the telemetry inpatient units.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Licensure/Specialized Training:

a. Education: High School Diploma or GED and completion of Cardiac Monitor Technician training course or equivalent coursework (i.e.
Electrocardiography course) from an accredited school or accredited online program required.

b. Licensure/Certification:
- Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required upon hire OR Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT)
- Basic Life Support from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program.

Work Experience: Five (5) years related experience in a hospital required.

Management Experience: One (1) year of management or supervisor experience preferred
