Job Summary CORRECTIONAL HEALTH:
To provide assistance for daily pharmacy operations by overseeing the management, planning, organizing, and controlling of pharmacy inventory (drugs and supplies) Pyxis and Clean room to ensure that performance standards are maintained and that work is accurate and in accordance with State/federal, regulations and organizational/departmental guidelines.
Degree: Bachelor's Degree, Preferred
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Licensure & Certification: Registered by Texas State Board of Pharmacy & in good standing; IV certification by ASHP and/or ACPE. IV Certification, or MTM Certification (as applicable)
Work Experience: Minimum three (3) years as a Pharmacy Technician; with a minimum of 1 year in the specialty area. Project management experience preferred
Communication Skills: Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports
Proficiencies: CRT, P.C., Microsoft Office
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes: Mathematics, Medical Terms
Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, Overtime, Travel
