JOB SUMMARY:
This position will oversee all logistics operations within Harris County. The manager will oversee the Logistics Operations Supervisors and will be the subject matter expert for pickup & delivery, move services, recycling and solid waste support for all Harris Health locations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: BA/BS Required
Work Experience : Five (5) years in related field
Management Experience: Three (3) years Healthcare Management, Business or related field
Equipment Operated: General Purpose Vehicles, Electric Forklifts and other equipment
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports
Other Skills: Analytical, Mathematics, Research, Statistical, P.C., MS Word, MS Excel
Advance Training Specialty: Logistics, Transportation, Hazardous Material Handling, Lean 6 Sigma preferred
Work Schedule: Flexible
