Skills / Requirements

The Manager-Clinical Nutrition is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the clinical nutrition team. They collaborate with the multidisciplinary health team to accomplish optimal nutrition care to patients, establish and maintain policies/standards, and implement programs and initiatives for positive health outcomes.  They are responsible for maintaining effective working relationships with departments and stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to patient care.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor‘s Degree in Dietetics, Food Science or Nutrition.  Licensed Dietitian (LD) (State of Texas), Registered Dietitian (RD).

Work Experience: 5 years experience in an acute care hospital performing as a Clinical Dietitian.

Management Experience: 1 yr. in a Lead, Supervisory or Management role in health care facility or 6months and a certificate of completion in a management training course.

Equipment Operated: Computer

Communication Skills:Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)

Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports .

Other Skills: Analytical, Mathematics, Medical Terms ,  Statistical, P.C., MS Word, MS Excel.

Advanced Education:

Advance Training-Specialty: Dietetic Internship

Bachelor‘s Degree-Major: Dietetics, Food Science, Nutrition

Master‘s Degree-Major: Nutrition, Management preferred

Work Schedule: Flexible
