Job Profile

Job Summary

This position would handle all quality assurance related to Maternal-Fetal Medicine ultrasound within Harris Health.  This includes sonographer recruitment, orientation and education, quality assurance, maintenance of AIUM accreditation, new physician orientation, protocol development and implementation, research participation and coordination, workflow improvement.  This position will also be able to scan when needed to fill in vacancies.  This position requires someone with 10+ years of OB ultrasound experience, with at least 5 years of management experience in OB ultrasound quality and education.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees: Bachelors Degree preferred

Licenses & Certification: Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program, ARDMS active, ARDMS Ob/Gyn

Work Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in MFM ultrasound scanning and MFM ultrasound education with one (1 ) year of experience in ultrasound research.

Management Experience: Five (5) years of experience in MFM ultrasound and quality assurance.

Communication Skills:
Above average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking)

Proficiencies:
MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PC, Typing
