This position is for Day Shift in Hematology. Parking is at Ben Taub parking garage. No weekends/holidays depending on department needs.
Supervisor will have Core Lab QC specialist and Quality Manager support who will provide compliance related oversight for the section.
Supervises Med Techs in the performance of routine and special diagnostic testing in a Hospital Lab; special diagnostic testing.
- B.S. Degree in Medical Technology or related science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- Medical Technology Certification by ASCP
Work Experience (Years and Area)
- 5 yrs. experience as a general Med. Tech or Med. Tech specialist in Hospital or Clinical Lab.
Communication Skills: Writing/Composing (Reports)
Advanced Education Preference
Bachelor's Degree: Med Tech certified or Clinical Certification by ASCP or NCA
