JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for developing requirements and establishing priorities for the operational and financial management of the division. Works closely with department, pavilion and other system leadership to plan, implement and manage the Harris Health System owned/leased vehicle fleet and auto maintenance team; oversees the creation and administration of comprehensive plans to ensure compliance with regulatory and administrative guidance on the use of and care for vehicles. Conduct new driver orientation and manages annual approved driver audits and background checks. Responsible for managing resources and controlling multiple projects; ensures Departmental policies and procedures are reviewed and updated in a timely manner. Coordinates Logistics' vendor contracts, ensures renewals and rebids are processed on time and drafts quarterly performance reviews for Director approval; conducts administrative utilization reviews and evaluations. Has direct supervision of the auto maintenance team and others as needed; provides highly responsible and complex organizational support to the Director and other department leadership as needed.
1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
2. Work Experience (Years and Area): 5 years or related industry experience. Graduate Degree may be considered to complement work experience.
3. Management Experience (Years and Area): Three (3) years of management experience or six (6) years of experience in a support management role.
